Form Patrol

Blue Hill Systems is working with UK company HeliMedia to provide Form Patrol - a mobile forms and ticketing application suite which reduces the time law enforcement officers spend filling in and processing paperwork.

Using Form Patrol, police officers can record and issue a wide variety of forms and tickets on handheld devices or laptops.  At the end of the patrol, the information collected is automatically disseminated to the force’s existing systems.  

If more than one form or citation needs to be issued to the same person, Form Patrol eliminates the need to re-type the same information on each ticket.  Tickets are printed from a small portable printer which can print text and images.  

Form Patrol also reduces back-office administrative effort, as re-typing of handwritten forms is eliminated.  Significant stationery cost savings are achievable as there is no need for each officer to carry a range of custom-printed paper forms.

In the UK Form Patrol is used to implement a variety of tickets and forms covering hundreds of offences, violations and other scenarios, such as Fixed Penalty Notices, Stop and Search, HORT/1, Penalty Notice for Disorder (PND), Section 59 Vehicle warning / seizure, Section 165, Vehicle Defect Report and many others.

Form Patrol runs on a variety of platforms including PCs and Windows Mobile devices.
